Melancholy / Sanguine

The MelSan

          The MelSan is usually a very talented person, fully capable of being a musician who can steal the heart of an audience.  As an artist, you not only draw or paint beautifully, but you can sell your own work, if you are in a good mood. It is not uncommon to meet him in the field of education, as he is a scholar and probably the best classroom teachers, particularly at the secondary and university levels.  The melancholy in him will discover little known facts and will be demanding in the use of events and details, while the optimist will allow him to communicate well with the students.

          As emotional creatures the MelSan shows an interesting combination of mood swings.   When circumstances please you, reflecting an incredibly happy mood is easy.  If things go wrong or you are rejected, insulted, or hurt, you get in such a mood that you’re less optimistic nature drowns in a sea of self-pity.  Quickly moved to tears, you will feel everything deeply but can be irrationally critical and harsh on others.  You’ll tend to be rigid and will generally will not cooperate unless things turn out well, which is often idealistic and impractical.  You are often fearful and insecure with a poor self-image that will limit you if left unchecked.

          Many of the prophets were MelSans, John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah, etc...  These men had a tremendous ability to communicate with God.  Sacrificing themselves and helping others with enough charisma to attract followers while willing to die for their principles.
